Let’s Talk Equality is

a community where higher education instructors can share ideas on how to incorporate social justice topics into the classroom.

During the Spring 2015 semester, five University of Tampa professors incorporated the discussion of privilege into their curriculums. It was an inter-disciplinary endeavor, involving English, Speech, Film, Cultural Studies and Advertising classes, where students were asked to reflect on their own privilege in various ways.

This website features examples of the student projects. But, we want this to be an ongoing initiative and want to hear from you. How have you incorporated the ideas of social justice, privilege, bias and non-discrimination into your classroom discussions?

Share your ideas on Twitter, Facebook or send them via email to UTLetsTalk@gmail.com.
